1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and PinkGuava ("we", "us"), operated from Ontario, Canada. By creating an account or using pinkguava.co or app.pinkguava.co, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use PinkGuava.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract.
2. The service
PinkGuava lets you view investment accounts from several brokers in one dashboard, add positions yourself, see performance, set alerts, receive emails you choose, and ask Guava AI questions about your portfolio and the markets.
PinkGuava is in an early period. Access is currently by request, features change, and some may be added, limited or removed. We aim to give notice of changes that matter.
3. Your account
- Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at once at hello@pinkguava.co if you think someone else has used it.
- One person per account. Do not share logins.
4. Broker connections
You can connect broker accounts through our provider, SnapTrade. When you connect, you log in at your broker's or SnapTrade's own screen. We never see or store your broker password. The connection is for reading account information only. PinkGuava cannot place orders, transfer money or change your broker account.
Your use of a broker is governed by your agreement with that broker. A broker or SnapTrade may stop, limit or change a connection at any time, and some brokers or account types may not be supported. You can disconnect at any time from Connected accounts.
5. Accuracy of information
Positions, balances, prices, exchange rates, news and company details come from your brokers and from third-party sources. They can be delayed, incomplete, wrong or missing. Daily changes use the most recent saved closing prices, which may not be today's. Sector labels follow a third-party classification that may differ from what you expect. Calculated figures such as returns, income and projections are estimates.
Always check important figures against your broker's official statements. Do not use PinkGuava as your only record for tax filing or legal reporting.
6. Guava AI and not-advice
Guava AI is an AI assistant. It can make mistakes, and its answers are for information and education only. Neither PinkGuava nor Guava AI is a registered investment adviser, dealer or broker in Canada, the United States, India, Singapore or anywhere else, and nothing we show is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. 7. Plans and payments
PinkGuava has plan levels, for example Free and Pro, which differ in features and daily limits such as the number of Guava AI questions. We may change plan features and limits.
At the time of writing, paid billing is not switched on and you are not charged for anything. If that changes, we will show the price and terms in the app before you pay, you will not be charged unless you choose a paid plan, and we will add billing terms here, including how to cancel.
8. Rules of use
Do not:
- break the law or help others to;
- try to get into accounts or data that are not yours;
- probe, scan or test our systems, or bypass limits, without our written permission (to report a security problem, see our security page);
- overload the service, scrape it, or use bots or automated tools against it;
- copy, resell or build a competing product from our service or its content;
- upload anything harmful, such as malware, or content you have no right to share;
- use the service to give investment advice to others or to run a business that relies on it.
We may suspend or limit an account that breaks these rules or puts others at risk.
9. Your data
Your portfolio data remains yours. You give us permission to store, process and display it, and to send the parts described in our Privacy Policy to our service providers, only so that we can run PinkGuava for you.
If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.
10. Our work
The PinkGuava name, logo, design, text and software belong to us or our licensors. You may use the service for your own personal use. You may not copy or reuse it beyond that without permission. Third-party names and logos belong to their owners.
11. Ending your use
You can stop using PinkGuava and delete your account yourself at any time from Help & support in the app, or ask us to by emailing hello@pinkguava.co. We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering the service. If we end the service, we will try to give notice and a way to take your data with you. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as 5, 10, 12 and 13, continue after your account ends.
12. Disclaimers and limits of liability
PinkGuava is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, that data will be accurate, or that it will suit your needs.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for investment losses, lost profits, lost data, or indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of PinkGuava or from decisions you make using it. Where the law does not allow us to exclude liability, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and CAD $100.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection or privacy laws that cannot be waived.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes will be decided by the courts of Ontario, except where the law of your home country gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date above, and for material changes we will email you or show a notice in the app before they take effect. If you keep using PinkGuava after that, you accept the new terms.
